batchcamp

Batchcamp is a browser extension for bulk-downloading music you've bought on Bandcamp. Here's what it does, and doesn't do, with your data.
Batchcamp has no account and no server of its own. Your settings and the record of what you've already downloaded are kept in your browser's local storage and never leave it. When you download, the files go straight from Bandcamp to your computer. Batchcamp doesn't see, copy, or store your music or your collection.
Two kinds of data can leave the extension: anonymous usage analytics and crash reports. Both can be turned off in Batchcamp's settings.
To see which features actually get used, Batchcamp sends anonymous usage events to PostHog, an analytics service, on servers hosted in the EU. An event records things like a button being clicked or a setting being changed, along with your browser and Batchcamp version and a randomly generated ID that isn't linked to you or your Bandcamp account.
Events never include your music or your collection: titles, artists, and URLs are stripped out before anything is sent. IP addresses aren't stored, and if your browser sends a "Do Not Track" signal, analytics switch off automatically.
When something actually goes wrong, Batchcamp sends a crash report to Sentry, a standard error-reporting service. A report includes the error and its stack trace, your browser and Batchcamp version, and the origin of the page involved (such as https://bandcamp.com). URLs are trimmed to their origin before anything is sent, so Bandcamp usernames and signed download links are removed first.
Crash reports are used only to find and fix bugs. They aren't sold or shared, aren't used to identify you, and Batchcamp doesn't attach or store your IP address.
Batchcamp has an optional "donate" link that opens a checkout page hosted by Stripe. If you choose to donate, Stripe handles the payment under its own privacy policy. Batchcamp doesn't receive or store any payment details.
